Santorini Scam. 'indulgent Luxury?' NOPE!
General information: Views are great but was all downhill from there. Owner sketchy, we were so disappointed in the overall poor quality for the exhorbitant price that we LEFT asap despite this being prepaid, no point staying when you're miserable. Beds are FUTONS with no box springs... Green light illuminate bedrooms at night. Solar powered so no hot water if not sunny all the time. Solar fuse switch in bedroom so whenever sun would come out owner would come in to flick off the electric power= cold showers and 'cold Tub' not hot tub.. Breakfast consisted of rotten fruit , not so fresh yogurt, boxed juice and LEFTOVERs! Made me yearn for a HoJo continental .. Location and surroundings: Beautiful spot but the view alone can't make up for these shortcomings. Pathway steep and bumpy, if you're not able bodied or on in years this is not the place for you. Not very private, weirdos would walk right up to bedroom window and stare in. If flimsy curtains were drawn bedroom dark like a cave. Service: Owner seemed to try but had had recent surgery and really didn't look well, he tried to help us with one of our bags up the steep bumpy path and when he dropped the suitcase swore putting us at unease. Dining: Breakfast as noted. I found one local restaurant with good food and pleasant staff. Avoid Aegeon, views great but food poor, tourist trap.
